Where it started
The foundations of the MO Holdings Group stretch back to 1973 with the establishment of AFFA (Abingdon Freight Forwarding Agency), a specialist freight forwarding business serving UK and international customers. Over time, AFFA developed expertise that would become a cornerstone of the wider group.
In 1983, SandrAir International was incorporated, bringing international air freight expertise to the growing portfolio. Operating with close ties to Heathrow Airport, SandrAir expanded the group's capabilities into global freight movements, customs support and international logistics.
Together, these businesses established the foundations upon which MO Holdings would be built.
Together, AFFA and SandrAir established the foundations upon which MO Holdings would be built — combining freight forwarding heritage with international logistics expertise.
Bringing the group together
MO Holdings was established during the mid-1980s to provide a structure for growth and long-term investment. The vision was simple: acquire, support and develop specialist businesses that deliver outstanding service within their respective industries.
